The ruling on a woman's wages if she marries a man who does not work while she does
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa number ( 16818 )
Q2: Whatis the ruling on a woman's wages if she marries a man who does not work while she does, and likewise if the man works and she does as well?
A2: The money a woman earns in exchange for her permissible work belongs to her; nothing of it is lawful for her husband to take except what she voluntarily allows, or if there is a condition between them that she give him a portion of it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
