Seclusion with one who performs ruqyah with the Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18963 )
Q2: What is the ruling on going to a man who is called a shaykh and who treats people with the Qur'an, but he recites to women, secludes himself with each one alone, and if the woman's condition requires it, he keeps her in his house for several days? I was one of these women, but I felt great regret, so I sought Allah's forgiveness and repented to Him. Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you with every good.
A2: The seclusion of a man with a woman who is not his mahram is forbidden, even if it is for ruqyah with the Qur'an; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A man is not to be alone with a woman, for Satan is the third among them.لا يخلون رجل بامرأة، فإن الشيطان ثالثهما
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 2:94
, and more dangerous and sinful than a man's seclusion with you is your staying overnight in the house of that man who is a stranger to you, and residing in his house for several nights and days, and his seclusion with you, for that is among the means of evil and corruption. So any Muslim woman who did something like that should make sincere repentance for it, and not return to such a bad action.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
