Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of Fatwa No. ( 2759 )
Q6: What is the ruling of the Shari'ah regarding shaking hands with a foreign woman, and does this include both Muslim and non-Muslim women?
A6: It is not permissible for a Muslim man to have his skin touch the skin of a woman who is not among his mahram (relatives one may not marry), whether by shaking hands or otherwise, whether she is Muslim or non-Muslim. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
