The questioner : What is the meaning of:
Whoever performs Hajj for Allah, and he does not have sexual relations nor commit any sin, then his previous sins will be forgiven. من حج فلم يرفث ولم يفسق خرج كيوم ولدته أمه
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 811Sahih (Darussalam)

The Shaykh : It means that if a person performs Hajj and avoids what Allah has forbidden him, namely lewdness, which is approaching women in a forbidden manner, and sin, which is disobedience by leaving what Allah has made obligatory upon him or doing what Allah has forbidden him, that is sin. If a person performs Hajj without committing lewdness or sin, he emerges from it pure of sins, just as a person emerges from his mother’s womb with no sins upon him. So this man, if he performs Hajj under this condition, will be pure of his sins.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.
