The Shaykh's words on Hajj.
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We praise Him and seek His help and seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own souls and from the badness of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide, and whoever He misguides, no one can guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. Allah the Exalted sent him with guidance and the religion of truth, so he conveyed the message, fulfilled the trust, advised the community, and struggled in the cause of Allah with true struggle until certainty came to him. May the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows: O my brothers, this is the first gathering we have after the month of Ramadan. This gathering, which took place after the month of Ramadan, is a gathering after a deed about which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:853 I hope that we are all among those who fasted and stood in prayer with faith and seeking reward, so that we may attain this great good: that Allah forgives our previous sins. We ask Allah the Exalted to protect us from sins after being delivered from them. For when a person is delivered from sins, his record becomes white, his heart becomes illuminated, and his deeds become good. If he remains steadfast in that, it is a sign of Allah’s (Glorified and Exalted is He) acceptance of his work. If not, let him turn to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and rectify what remains, so that perhaps he may make up for what has passed. Then, by His wisdom and mercy, Allah the Exalted made the months of Hajj to the House of Allah immediately follow this month. Regarding Hajj to the House of Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Riyad as-Salihin 1274 He returns as if he were born on the day his mother gave birth to him. From what aspect? From the aspect of sins, pure from them, clean from them. Just as when he comes out of his mother’s womb, he has no sin, so he returns from Hajj with no sin. And by this, we know that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child. So whoever completes the month of fasting, which is a cause for the forgiveness of sins, until the months of Hajj, which are a cause for the forgiveness of sins, come.
