A wife who wants to endow all that she owns with the intention of depriving her husband and her family of inheritance

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 19553 )
Q: I am married and have not had any children, and my husband has married and has children. I, praise be to Allah, have gold and money that I want to write to the endowments, and I do not want to write anything to my brothers or my husband; because I spend on the house and the rent of the house, and my husband does not spend on me, so is it permissible for me to write all that I own to the endowments and deprive my husband and my family from it?
A: If the intention is that you endow from your wealth while you are alive with an immediate endowment, there is no harm in it if it is in the ways of righteousness, and if the intention is not to deprive the heirs. But if the intention is to endow after death, this is not permissible except within the limit of one-third or less for non-heirs. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
