Selling the land endowed for a specific mosque to build another mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 12875 )
Q: I am informing you that I previously inquired with you regarding the courtyard whose owner wanted to make it a mosque in the Wadi al-Naml district of Ta'if, and the owner approached the Ministry of Endowments, but the Endowments did not build it, as he did not have a deed or a building permit, citing the excuse that there are mosques in the district where the courtyard is located. The owner then wanted to sell it to another person, and the buyer wants to expand his house with it, and the owner wants to build another mosque with its value or put the value in the path of good. Is that permissible? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A: If the matter is as described, it is permissible to sell the courtyard, and it is obligatory to place its price in another mosque.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
