Spending the remaining funds allocated for the renovation of a specific mosque on the construction of another mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 5135 )
Q: I, along with some of my neighbors, collected donations to renovate our mosque, and I was entrusted with the entire matter. Some money was raised. Is it permissible for me to spend it on another mosque after it exceeded the needs of the mosque in question, so that I may be absolved of the responsibility for that amount which has left me in confusion?
A: It is permissible for you to take out the money that remained with you from the donations for the renovation of your mosque and spend it on another mosque. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
