It is not permissible to replace the carpets designated for the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18419 )
Q3: If a person takes a carpet or something else from a mosque on the condition that he will replace it with something better, is that permissible?
A3: This is not permissible; because the aforementioned carpet has become an endowment for the mosque, so it is not lawful for you to dispose of it, even if in your view it is in the interest of the mosque. In this matter, you should coordinate with the authority responsible for the mosque, and they will take this legal action.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
