Treatment by intramuscular and intravenous injection for the fasting person during the day of Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The eleventh question of Fatwa No. ( 5176 )
Q11: What is the ruling on treatment by injection during the day of Ramadan , whether for nutrition or for medical treatment?
A11: It is permissible for the fasting person to receive intramuscular and intravenous injections during the day of Ramadan, but it is not permissible for the fasting person to receive nutritional injections during the day of Ramadan; because they are considered equivalent to consuming food and drink, so taking those injections
is considered a ruse to break the fast in Ramadan, and if it is possible to receive intramuscular and intravenous injections at night, that is better. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
