Q: Whatis the ruling on deliberately drinking water while fasting, when the fasting person felt severe fatigue?And does he have to make up that day?
A: Whoever drinks during the day of Ramadan intentionally, his fast is invalid, and it is obligatory for him to make up one day in place of the day on which he drank due to the severe fatigue, along with repentance to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
