Q: A questioner asks and says: He was overcome by sleep during the night in Ramadan, so he woke up and the dawn had already appeared, and he was thirsty, so he drank water . What is the ruling?
A: If you are certain that the dawn has appeared, and then you drank intentionally, it is obligatory for you to make up that day with another day, along with repentance to Allah the Exalted. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
