Q: I am informing you that I am one of the workers at the General Desalination Establishment. Ramadan arrives upon us while we are fasting and at work, and there is water steam from the station where we work, which we may inhale in many situations. Does this invalidate our fast? And are we required to make up the day on which we inhaled the water steam,
whether it was obligatory or voluntary? And do we have to give charity for each day?
A: If the matter is as you described, then your fast is valid and you owe nothing. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
