Taking money without the owner's permission and consent
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19371 )
Q2: A man gave me a sum of money amounting to 2000 riyals,
for me to buy medicine from one of the healers. I bought the treatment from the healer for only 1500 riyals and took the rest of the money. Is this amount lawful? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you a thousand times.
A2: What remains of the amount after buying the medicine is the right of the owner who instructed you to buy the medicine for him, whether the remaining money is small or large. It is forbidden to take it without the owner's permission and consent. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
