Washing the imported lamb to give the impression that it was raised within the country

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 19158 )
Q: We are a group of young men who buy and sell in the sheep market here. The Barbary (Somali) sheep comes to us, and we wash it so that the buyer believes this sheep is slower in Saudi Arabia ; he then increases the price. However, if the buyer knows that it recently entered the Kingdom, he reduces its price, and perhaps he will look at it no more at all. What is the ruling on our work? And what is the ruling of the one who washes the sheep knowing that it is to increase its price? May Allah reward you with good.
A: Your mentioned work is deception of the buyer, so it is not permissible; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever deceives us is not one of usمن غشنا ليس منا
, so it is obligatory for you to leave this work and adhere to truthfulness in transactions, for that is the cause of obtaining blessing and purity of conscience.
