Q1: What is the ruling on taking magazines that contain pictures of women in order to obtain styles that are compatible with our lenient Shari'ah, and leaving aside what is contrary to it?
A1: It is not permissible for you to buy these magazines that contain pictures of various fashions; because of the fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) they contain and the promotion of such harmful magazines,
and what suffices you in clothing is what suffices the women of your country.
