The questioner : I am twenty years old, and Allah has guided me to fulfill the obligatory duties. The truth is that I am suffering from a problem: after I finish relieving myself, may Allah reward you, and wash the residue, and after I put on my clothes and stand up, a small amount of it falls onto my clothes without my intention. And if I am in prayer and I rise from prostration, it also falls involuntarily. I ask you to clarify for me: is my prayer valid? What should I do? Do I have to wash the undergarments every time it falls on them? Please inform us about this, and may Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : If this discharge that comes from your penis comes out constantly and continuously, then its ruling is the ruling of incontinence (salsal al-bawl). The ruling for incontinence is that a person does not perform wudu for the prayer until the time for it enters, if it is a prayer with a fixed time, or until the cause for it occurs, if it is a prayer with a cause. The method of wudu for this is that he washes his private parts and whatever they have soiled, then he protects himself with a pad or bandage that he places on the area so that the discharge does not spread to the clothes and trousers when it comes out. Then, after that, he performs wudu, and what comes out after this does not harm him. This is if the discharge is continuous. But if the discharge only comes out in a time close to the end of urination, and then he holds it in, then he waits until this discharge is completely gone, then he washes what it has affected and performs wudu as usual. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
He also asks in his last letter and says.
