Q1: What is the ruling on a person in whom all of
the following violations: letting the garment hang below the ankles, shaving the beard, watching obscene video films, backbiting and talebearing, using the left hand for toilet purposes and leaving the nails long for men, laziness in performing the prayer in the mosque, the free mixing of men and women in theaters and parties, and eating and drinking with the left hand without an excuse for the right hand?
A1: He is considered a sinner, and it is prescribed to advise and guide him, perhaps Allah will guide him, and to urge him to sincere repentance, abundant righteous deeds, and seeking forgiveness, perhaps Allah will accept his repentance and forgive him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
