The questioner : In most of my prayers, I find myself crying out loud. Does this invalidate my prayer or not? I want an answer to this question.

The Shaykh : The answer to this question is that crying in prayer, if it is out of fear of Allah the Exalted and awe of Him, and because the person remembers the matters of the Hereafter and the verses of promise and warning that pass through him in the Noble Qur'an, then it does not invalidate the prayer. However, if the crying is due to remembering a calamity that befell him or something similar, then it invalidates the prayer because it is a disturbance caused by something external to the prayer. He must try to treat himself from this crying so that he does not expose his prayer to invalidity. It is also prescribed for him not to be preoccupied in his prayer with anything other than what relates to it; he should not think about other matters, because thinking about things unrelated to the prayer while in prayer greatly diminishes it. That is from the work of Satan, his whispers, and his theft of the servant's prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about turning around in prayer, and he said:
It is a way of stealing by which Satan takes away (a portion) from the prayer of a person. هو اختلاس يختلسه الشيطان من صلاة العبد
Sahih al-Bukhari 751
Just as this is clear regarding turning the head, it is also inclusive of turning the heart, for it is Satan who comes to the person in his prayer and says to him, "Remember such and such on such and such a day," until he no longer knows what he prayed. Yes.

The questioner : This is a message we received from the good listener Ahmad Sudani, residing in Iraq. He says in his message:
