Taking from zakah without need

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of fatwa number ( 1766 )
Q2: The zakah committee sent me a sum of money from zakah assistance, and I did not know that they had sent it to me, nor did I request it from them, nor did I ever try to get them to send me anything, nor did I think about it at all. However, I learned that they had sent me a sum from zakah assistance after a period of time. I should mention that I have agricultural land, but I did not plant it. At the same time, if I refuse to accept it, someone else will have to take it, and it cannot be returned to its original source. I ask that your answer be sent to me in writing.
Vol. 2 : It is not permissible for you to take this assistance; because you do not deserve it; due to the absence of a date palm with a harvested crop at your place, and the committee only intended to help you with it, and they do not have that right, so it is not permissible for you to assist them in what Allah has forbidden. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
