Removing Sandals in the Graveyards

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 10510 )
Q2: Is removing sandals in the graveyards a recommended practice (sunnah) or a religious innovation (bid'ah)?
A2: It is prescribed for one who enters the graveyard to remove his sandals; for what was narrated by Bashir ibn al-Khasasiyyah who said:
While I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), a man was walking in the graves wearing two sandals. He said: O owner of the two sandals, throw off your sandals. The man looked, and when he recognized the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he removed them and threw them away.
,
It was narrated by Abu Dawud , and Ahmad said: The chain of narration of the hadith of Bashir ibn al-Khasasiyyah is good, and I adhere to it except for a defect. The defect to which Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) referred is like thorns and hot sand and the like, so there is no harm in walking in them between the graves to avoid harm. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
