Q6: A man had sexual intercourse with his wife, and after the intercourse he defecated. Which of the two acts of istinja' should he perform first for purification?
A6: Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family
and his Companions... After that: One act of istinja' suffices for him for both his intercourse and his defecation, and he must perform ghusl for the intercourse. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
