The ghusl for janabah with the intention of wudu' is sufficient

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of the fatwa number ( 4213 )
Q2: Is the ghusl for janabah sufficient in place of the wudu' for prayer? Knowing that he intends to pray after the ghusl, or must he perform a complete wudu' in addition to the ghusl?
A2: Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: Yes, the ghusl for janabah is sufficient in place of the ghusl and the wudu' for prayer
all together if he intends both, and he may pray with it as long as the wudu' is not broken by any of its nullifiers. If he intends only the ghusl, it does not suffice for the wudu' according to the correct opinion of the scholars; because it is established from his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended.إنما الأعمال بالنيات وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى
Sahih al-Bukhari 1
, but it is better for the one in a state of janabah to start by washing his private parts, then perform his wudu' for prayer, then perform the ghusl for janabah by pouring water over the rest of his body; following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
