Q2: If the imam is in the Friday prayer and has prayed the first rak'ah and stood up for the second rak'ah, and a latecomer (masbuq) joined him in the second rak'ah, and the latecomer stood up to make up the missed rak'ah after the imam's taslim, and another latecomer joined him, is the Friday prayer valid for this last latecomer or not?
A2: The Friday prayer is not valid for the second latecomer; because he did not catch a rak'ah of the Friday prayer with the imam in it, and he has to pray the Zuhr prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
