The Prayer of the One Who Joins Late
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second and third questions from Fatwa No. ( 9810 )
Q2: If I enter the prayer and find that I have missed the first two rak'ahs of the 'Isha' prayer, am I required to recite the Qur'an aloud in the two rak'ahs that I did not catch?
A2: You recite al-Fatihah quietly in each of the two rak'ahs that you make up after the imam's taslim from the 'Isha' prayer; because it is the last of your prayers according to the correct opinion.
Q3: If I miss one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer, is it permissible for me to recite aloud in the last rak'ah?
Volume 3: Recite al-Fatihah and whatever is easy of the Qur'an aloud, without disturbing the worshippers around you, in making up the rak'ah that you missed with the imam. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
