Not drying or wiping the water after completing the ablution
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of the fatwa number ( 8594 )
Q 3: It is said that not drying or wiping the water after completing the ablution with a cloth, handkerchief, or the like is a recommended practice, and likewise before starting to eat with the hand after washing the hands?
A 3: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And to proceed: Not drying the hands or wiping the water from them after the ablution
or before or after eating is not a recommended practice. Rather, the matter is broad in all of this; if he wishes, he wipes them, and if he wishes, he leaves them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
