Q 4: Cutting the hair and wrapping the head like a turban, or letting it hang down the back in two braids .
A 4: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. After that: It is not permissible for a woman to gather her hair on the top of her head; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned against that in his saying:Sahih Muslim 2128 , narrated by Ahmad and Muslim, and likewise it is not permissible for a woman to gather her hair or wrap it around her head until it becomes like a man's turban; because of what it contains of imitating men. As for gathering it and making it one braid or more, and letting it hang down the back braided or unbraided - there is no harm in that as long as it is covered from those for whom it is not permissible to see it.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

Two are the types of the denizens of Hell whom I did not see: people having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating people, and the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked, who would be inclined (to evil) and make their husbands incline towards it. Their heads would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such distance.
صنفان من أهل النار لم أرهما بعد: قوم معهم سياط كأذناب البقر يضربون بها الناس، ونساء كاسيات عاريات، مائلات مميلات، على رؤسهن مثل أسنمة البخت المائلة، لا يدخلن الجنة ولا يجدن ريحها، وإن ريحها ليوجد من كذا وكذاAnd success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
