Q: We have people among us who, when one of them leads people in prayer and the prayer is completed, he turns to his left. I feel a dislike for this action because I see that turning to the right is more appropriate?
A: It is permissible for the imam, when he concludes the prayer, to turn to his right or his left. It is established from the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud that he said:Sahih al-Bukhari 852 , and this is the wording of al-Bukhari. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

لا يجعل أحدكم للشيطان شيئًا من صلاته يرى أن حقًّا عليه أن لا ينصرف إلا عن يمينه، لقد رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كثيرًا ينصرف عن يساره
