A hadith states, "Both of His hands are right hands," and another hadith in Muslim states, "He takes the heavens with His right hand and the earth with His left hand." How are these reconciled?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah open the door of knowledge for you. A hadith describes the hand of the Exalted and Majestic as saying that both of His hands are right hands. Another hadith in Sahih Muslim states that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will grasp the heavens and the earth with His right hand on the Day of Resurrection, and His left hand will remain empty. How are these two hadiths reconciled?

The Shaykh : No, and the earth with His left hand. He grasps the heavens with His right hand and the earth with His left hand.

The questioner : The second hadith says:
Both His hands are right كلتا يديه يمين

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly. The reconciliation between the two narrations, or between the two hadiths, is clear: Allah has a right hand and a left hand, but both hands are right hands, meaning they are a source of favor, good, and blessing. One should not imagine that because He has a left hand, His left hand is deficient, as is the case with created beings. The noblest of created beings are humans, and for humans, the left hand is deficient compared to the right hand. That is why a person is forbidden from eating with his left hand, drinking with his left hand, taking with his left hand, or giving with his left hand. Since this is the case with humans regarding the attribute of the left hand, this misconception was removed by the statement of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): "Both of His hands are right hands." Yes.
