How do we reconcile the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (Both of my Lord's hands are right) with the hadith that says

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes?

The questioner : Our dear teacher: How do we reconcile the hadith of the Messenger of Allah - (peace and blessings be upon him) :
both of the Hands of my Lord are right وكلتا يدي ربِّي يمين
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3367Hasan (Darussalam)
with the hadith that says:
That Paradise comes from the right of the Most Merciful and the Fire from His left أن الجنة تأتي عن يمين الرحمن والنار عن شماله
?

The Shaykh : Who narrated this hadith?

The questioner : I do not know, my Shaykh, but I know that it is authentic.

The Shaykh : I do not know it, and if it is authentic, there is no problem, because when we say: Both of my Lord's hands are right, we have answered that:
There is nothing like unto Him لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
: So the fact that He has a left does not mean that His left is like our left, and this is the answer, but you must remind us of the hadith and its source so that we can verify its authenticity.
