Q: A person prayed with the imam until the final tashahhud, but the person forgot and did not recite the tashahhud or the Ibrahimiyyah prayer . What is the ruling on his prayer? Is the prayer invalid, or what should he do?
A: His prayer, having omitted the final tashahhud, is not valid according to the correct opinion of the scholars; because he omitted a pillar, it is obligatory for him to make it up. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
