The ruling on the order of reciting Qur'anic surahs after al-Fatihah in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 8541 )
Q4: When reciting the Qur'an during prayer in the first two rak'ahs (1-2), is it obligatory to maintain the order or not? For example: in the first rak'ah I recited al-Fatihah and al-Takathur; in the second rak'ah, should I recite al-Fatihah and a surah after al-Takathur, or one before it?
A4: It is better to recite the surahs that come after al-Fatihah in the first and second rak'ahs in order. So if you recited al-Takathur in the first, recite in the second a surah that comes after it, such as al-'Asr or al-Humazah. If you recite a surah that comes before it, such as al-Tin and al-Zaytun or similar, there is no harm, but it is better to observe the order found in the Noble Mushaf in your recitation both outside and inside prayer;
following the example of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and may Allah be pleased with them all. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
