The ruling on tajwid of the Qur'an in prayer and its evidence

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 10751 )
Q2: Is tajwid of the Qur'an in prayer obligatory or not, with evidence?
A2 : Allah (Mighty and Majestic) commanded the recitation of the Noble Qur'an with tartil and giving every letter its right. He said:
and recite the Qur'an with measured recitation.وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلا
[Al-Muzzammil 73:4]
It was part of the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in reciting the Noble Qur'an that his recitation was tartil, neither this nor that, nor haste, but rather a recitation that explained letter by letter. He would pause his recitation verse by verse, and he would prolong the letters of elongation, prolonging (al-Rahman) and prolonging (al-Rahim). He would seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan at the beginning of his recitation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
