The Times of the Five Daily Prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 3515 )
Q1: I am a student and I do not leave my school until 2:00 PM. I want to pray this obligatory prayer. Is it permissible for me to delay my prayer until that time, or what should I do? Please note that we have a prayer break, but it is too short for me to perform wudu' and pray. So sometimes I pray without wudu', and sometimes I perform wudu' and wash only my face. Is my prayer valid or not?
A1: First: Performing the obligatory prayers at the beginning of their time is recommended, except on days of extreme heat, in which case the Zuhr prayer is delayed until the intensity of the heat subsides, provided it is prayed before the time of 'Asr. Accordingly, it is permissible for you to delay the Zuhr prayer, provided you pray it at the end of its time before the time of 'Asr begins. Second: Performing prayer without wudu' at all, or with wudu' in which some of its obligatory elements are omitted, is forbidden and a great evil, and the prayer is not valid with it. Whoever does this must make up the missed prayer.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
