Q4: Ifmy father is the one who calls to prayer, and he fell ill and was admitted to the hospital, and he told me: “Call to prayer in my place,” and I am watching television some of the days, is that permissible?
A4: If you are skilled in the adhan, obey him and call the adhan in his place. However, it is not permissible for you to watch what is on the television that is forbidden, such as songs and other forms of amusement.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
