Q: We live in the desert, and I love to read the Qur'an, but sometimes we take the Qur'an so that I can memorize from it, but we dislike that we have not found water, so we place the mushaf on the ground and perform tayammum and take the mushaf. Is it permissible for one who has performed tayammum to touch the Qur'an or not? Please inform us, may Allah reward you, and may Allah reward you with good.
A: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: If a Muslim is unable to use water or does not find it, it is permissible for him to perform tayammum and touch the mushaf.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
