The Ruling on Seeking Refuge in Prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 8678 )
Q3: Whatis the ruling on one who forgets the seeking of refuge from Satan the outcast after the prayer has ended, or who realizes that he did not say, “I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast,” while he is in the prayer?
A3: Seeking refuge is a recommended practice (sunnah), so leaving it out of the prayer, whether intentionally or by forgetfulness, does not harm. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
