The Ruling on Seeking Refuge in the Noble Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh. This questioner says: I heard someone say that the speech of Allah is revealed and not created, and therefore it is not permissible to seek refuge in it?

Answer:
This is what he said; this is the truth: the speech of Allah, revealed by Allah, not created. The Qur'an is not created; rather, it is the speech of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He). It is not permissible to seek refuge in the Qur'an. Seek refuge in Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) says: “So seek refuge in Allah from the expelled Satan.”
