The invalidation of wudu' during prayer by sound or wind for one who has a permanent condition
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: My wudu' is invalidated during prayer, and while reciting the Qur'an, by wind, whether by sound or by smell alone. So I renew my wudu' every time it is invalidated. But one of the sisters in Islam told me: it is not necessary for you to renew your wudu' several times, but with one wudu' you pray, and if your wudu' is invalidated, you must renew your wudu' a second time, and if your wudu' is invalidated a third time, you are not required to renew your wudu'. Is this correct, and what should I do in this situation?
A: If your wudu' is invalidated during prayer with certainty by hearing the sound or by the presence of the smell, then you must renew your wudu' and your prayer; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Bulugh al-Maram 2:68 narrated by the people of the Sunan with a good chain, and because of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 225 agreed upon as authentic.
Except if the condition is with you constantly, then you must perform wudu' for prayer when the time enters, then you pray the obligatory and voluntary prayers—as long as the time lasts—and what comes out of you during the time does not harm you; because this situation is a state of dire necessity in which what comes out of one who has a permanent condition is excused if he performs wudu' after the time enters; for many pieces of evidence: among them is the saying of the Exalted: [Surat al-Taghabun: 16].
And among them is: the hadith of 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding the story of the woman with irregular bleeding, where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her:.
As for recitation, there is no blame on you if you recite from memory, even if you are not in a state of ritual purity, except in the state of major ritual impurity, in which you do not recite until you perform the full ritual bath. And it is not permissible for you to touch the mushaf except in a state of ritual purity from major and minor ritual impurity, except if the condition is constant, then there is no blame on you if you perform wudu' for the time of every prayer that you pray, and you recite from the mushaf and from memory; for what has preceded regarding the ruling on prayer.
May Allah guide them all.

When one of you releases air (through his anus) during Salat (prayer), he should break the Salat (prayer) then perform ablution and repeat the prayer.
إذا فسا أحدكم في الصلاة فلينصرف وليتوضأ وليعد الصلاةThe prayer of none amongst you would be accepted in a state of impurity until he performs ablution.
