Inquiry from one who permitted riba

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The seventh question of the fatwa number ( 4269 )
Q 7: A scholar permitted riba and said: “Riba is like any other forbidden thing that becomes permissible in cases of dire necessity.” What is the ruling on this, O Shaykh? And if he repents and turns back, is it permissible to take from his statements thereafter?
A 7: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. After that: It is well known that riba is forbidden by the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and scholarly consensus.
If this person has turned back from his statement—as mentioned in the question—and repented to Allah the Exalted, then the door of repentance is open, and whoever repents, Allah accepts his repentance. There is no objection to taking from his statements in matters where he agreed with the truth. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
