A 1: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: The difference between them in terminology is: that the obligatory is: that for which its doer is rewarded and its leaver deserves punishment. As for the recommended, or the desirable, or the sunnah, they are close in meaning, if not synonymous, and they all agree in terminology on: rewarding the doer of the recommended, the desirable, and the sunnah, and not punishing its leaver. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
