Vol. 4: It is mentioned in the book *Kunuz al-Haqaiq fi Hadith Khayr al-Khalaiq* in the margin of *al-Jami' al-Saghir* 2/97 with the wording:Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 30:415 It was narrated by al-Tabarani , and it is mentioned in *al-Jami' al-Saghir* along with *Kunuz al-Haqaiq* 2/112 with the wording: It was narrated by the Imam Ahmad from al-Bara' , and al-Suyuti indicated it as good (hasan). It is also mentioned therein with the wording: Sunan al-Bayhaqi 17:1153 , and he indicated that al-Tabarani narrated it in *al-Kabir* from Ibn Abbas and indicated it as good (hasan). And Abu Dawud said: Musaddad narrated to us, and Yahya narrated to us from Sufyan , and Abu Musa narrated to me from Wahb ibn Munabbih from Ibn Abbas from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And he said - once - that Sufyan said: I do not know it except from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: Sunan Abi Dawud 2859Sahih (Al-Albani) .

من بدا جفاWhoever begins with harshness, and whoever follows hunting, becomes heedless, and whoever goes to the doors of the rulers, becomes afflicted with fitnah.
من بدا جفا ومن اتبع الصيد غفل ومن أتى أبواب السلطان افتتنHe who lives in the desert will become rude; he who pursues the game will be negligent, and he who visits a king will be perverted.
من سكن البادية جفا، ومن اتبع الصيد غفل، ومن أتى السلطان افتتن
