Q: What are the methods for preserving what has been torn from the mushafs and books containing verses from the Qur'an?
A: What has been torn from the mushafs, books, and papers containing verses from the Qur'an should be buried in a clean place, far from people's paths and from where waste is thrown, or it should be burned; to protect it and preserve it from desecration;
due to the action of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
