Striving to obey Allah's commands and avoid His prohibitions, hoping for His reward and fearing His punishment

The first question of Fatwa No. ( 4058 ):
Q1: The content is: How can a servant be certain that his deed has achieved the sincerity required by Allah the Exalted, so that he does not excessively blame himself? Because that often leads to impermissible waswas (whispers). In the letters of Imam Ibn Rajab , you see that he presents many states and says: "This is among the subtleties of riya' (showing off), and these states are not known except by those whom Allah has protected." Is it obligatory for us to stop reading in matters that cause us distress and confusion, and what is the alternative? And is focusing on the obedience itself the important part of correcting it?
A1: The Muslim must strive to obey Allah's commands and avoid
His prohibitions, hoping for His reward and fearing His punishment. If something in his religion is unclear to him, he should ask the people of knowledge; as Allah the Exalted said:[An-Nahl 16:43]. As for the acceptance of deeds, knowledge of that returns to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). However, the servant must strive to perfect his deeds, have good opinion of his Lord, and ask Him for acceptance and forgiveness. And Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Kahf 18:30]. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
