The eighth question of Fatwa No. ( 3592 ):
Q8: Is image-making with a camera forbidden, or is there no blame on the one who does it?
A8: Yes, image-making of beings with souls by camera or otherwise is forbidden, and the one who does it must repent to Allah, seek His forgiveness, feel remorse for what he did, and not return to it. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
