Images on Currency

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 4380 ):
Q: There are matters that worry me greatly, among them the issue of images on currency . We have been afflicted by them, and they enter mosques in our pockets. Does bringing them into mosques cause the angels to flee from them, making it forbidden to bring them in? Are they considered among the desecrated things? Desecrated images do not prevent angels from entering houses. .
A: The images on currency are not something you caused, and you are compelled to possess them
and keep them in your house or carry them with you to benefit from them through buying, selling, gifting, charity, paying off debts, and other such prescribed interests. Therefore, there is no blame on you. They are not desecrated, but rather protected, following the protection of the currency in which they are contained. The harm is lifted from you only because of dire necessity. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
