Fatwa No. ( 9835 ):
Q: I have a brother who works with the drawing shown above, accompanied by the following text: The author said: This is an example of the Seal of Prophethood — meaning the drawing above — which was between the shoulders of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: Among its special attributes, as transmitted by al-Tirmidhi , is that whoever performs wudu and looks at it at dawn, Allah the Exalted will protect him until sunset; whoever looks at it at sunset, Allah the Exalted will protect him until dawn; whoever looks at it at the beginning of the month, he will be protected until the end of it; whoever looks at it at the beginning of the year, Allah will protect him until the end of it from calamities and afflictions; and whoever looks at it at the beginning of a journey, it will be blessed for him. And if he dies in that year, his life will be sealed with faith. He said: I have drawn this and I hope that Allah the Exalted will grant that whoever looks at it will have his love and faith confirmed.
and if he does it once, Allah the Exalted will protect him from all that he dislikes until he meets Allah the Exalted. Is this correct and recommended for Muslims to practice? Or is it invalid and a religious innovation that my brother must abandon?
A: Practicing the drawing mentioned in the inquiry and writing on it is not correct. Al-Zarqani transmitted in [Sharh al-Mawahib al-Laduniyyah] from al-Hakim al-Tirmidhi , when mentioning the Seal of Prophethood, that it is (like a pigeon’s egg, with "Allah, there is no partner with Him" written on its inside, and "Wherever you turn, you will be supported" on its outside). Abu Nu'aym narrated it and said: It is not established. He said in [al-Mawrid]: It is a fabricated hadith. Thus, we know that practicing the drawing mentioned is not permissible, and whoever does so must abandon it and repent to Allah for what he has done. The description of the Seal of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is established in [Sahih Muslim ], where it was narrated from Jabir ibn Samurah in the chapter on the Seal of Prophethood that he said:Sahih Muslim 2344c . And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers upon our Prophet Muhammad, and his family and his Companions.

رأيت خاتمًا في ظهر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كأنه بيضة حمام
