Prohibition of Participating with Buddhists

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6397 ):
Q1: A Muslim’s participation in the ceremonies held by Buddhists for their deceased: (a) Attending the burning of the body. (b) Donating to such ceremonies in the case of not attending. (c) Offering black flowers to the deceased’s family. (d) Wearing a black badge on the arm or placing a black ribbon around the neck. (e) Visiting the deceased’s family at their home and offering condolences to them.

A1: It is not permissible to do any of that; rather, doing it is forbidden; because of what is in it of participating with the disbelievers and assisting them in what is not permissible in Islam. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
