The first question of Fatwa No. ( 4405 ):
Q1: The content is that the questioner found in the attached copy superstitions and acts of shirk (associating partners with Allah) alongside verses from the Qur'an, and that people are rushing to them and holding false beliefs about them. He sent it so that the necessary measures be taken regarding the falsehoods contained in it, by broadcasting a response to them or publishing it among the people by another suitable means?
A1: This copy contained verses and chapters from the Noble Qur'an, as well as approximately three pages of the author's words explaining the benefits of this copy, which he named "The Protective Hijab of the Fortified Fortress." It also contained five pages of the words of some of the 'arifun (gnostics) regarding its benefits, explaining the benefits of this hijab and seeking nearness to Allah through the blessing of the Prophet al-Adnani (peace and blessings be upon him). It also contained the verses he called "The Seven Saving Verses" and their supplication, in his claim. Consequently, it is a denounced religious innovation from several aspects:
First: It contains seeking nearness to Allah through the blessing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to benefit those who adopt it as a hijab by achieving what benefits them or repelling what harms them. This is prohibited because it is a means to shirk (associating partners with Allah). Second: The claim of its author and some of the 'arifun that this hijab is beneficial in the benefits mentioned is a form of guessing and speaking without knowledge, and it contradicts the Shari'ah (Islamic sacred law) because it is a type of shirk. Likewise, his claim that it is a "fortified fortress" is a lie and a fabrication, for Allah the Exalted is the Preserver, and there is no fortress except what He has made a fortress. It has not been established by evidence from the Book or the Sunnah that this copy is a fortified fortress. Third: Adopting that copy as a hijab is a type of wearing amulets. This is shirk that contradicts reliance upon Allah or the perfection of reliance upon Him, whether it is from the Qur'an or from something else. This copy is not only Qur'an, but a mixture of the Qur'an and other things. Adopting it as a hijab is not prescribed, but is prohibited. So how can it be called "The Protective Hijab"? And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
