The slaughter of one who pronounces the testimony that there is no god but Allah, along with his prayer, zakah, fasting, and Hajj, but who wears amulets

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second and third questions from fatwa number ( 181 ):
Q2: Is the slaughter of one who pronounces the testimony that there is no god but Allah, along with his prayer, zakah, fasting, and Hajj, but who wears amulets from the Qur'an and other things, permissible?
A2: If the amulets are from the Qur'an and the names and attributes of Allah, then the slaughter of the one who wears them is lawful. If they are from other things, it was narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
spells, charms and love-potions are polytheismإن الرقى والتمائم والتولة شرك
Sunan Abi Dawud 3883Sahih (Al-Albani)
However, if he believes them to be among the causes, and that Allah is the One who benefits and harms, then wearing them is minor shirk, and refraining from eating from his slaughter is more preferable, in order to emphasize the prohibition of wearing them and to deter him from it.
